Epidendrum × doroteae P.H.Allen, Amer. Orchid Soc. Bull. 27: 311. 1958.

TYPE: Honduras. Department of Francisco Morazan: hills east of the Yeguare Valley, 3200 ft. elevation in pine-oak woods. October 28, 1957. Only one plant seen, epiphytic on Quercus, P.H. Allen 6786 (holotype, EAP; detail of the holotype, EAP; photo of the plant that served as the holotype; another photo of the the plant that served as the holotype).
